Flowing Hair & Draped Bust types |
Flowing Hair silver dollars were minted from 1794-1795. Many of them may show weight adjustment marks done manually at the mint. Draped Bust silver dollars (shown left) were minted from 1795 through 1804, with some variations. All Draped Bust dollars, including small eagle and heraldic eagle types, were minted at Philadelphia. Go here to sell “flowing hair” or “draped bust” silver dollars.

Liberty Seated silver dollars |
Liberty Seated silver dollars were minted at Philadelphia, New Orleans, Carson City and San Francisco from 1840 through 1873. These .900 silver coins were worth more than $1 face value by 1853, so newer Liberty seated dollars have higher values since many were melted down for their silver content. Sell Liberty Seated silver dollars here.

Trade Dollar silver coins |
Trade Dollars silver coins were issued expressly for trade usage in the Orient, minted only from 1873 – 1885. Many of them were marked with Oriental characters (“chop marks”) and are worth less than unmarked silver coins. Sell Trade Dollar silver coins here.

Liberty Head / Morgan silver $1 |
Morgan dollars – or Liberty Head silver dollars – appeared after a five-year lapse in minting silver dollars, during which gold dollar coins became the unit coin. There was another gap in production of these silver coins from 1905-1920 due to exhaustion of the US silver bullion supply. Buying Morgan or Liberty Head silver dollars here.

Peace Dollar silver coins |
Peace Dollars were actually produced as a commemorative coin from 1921 through 1935. With some exceptions, Silver Coins Buyer is purchasing Peace Dollars in uncirculated or proof condition only. We buy Peace Dollar silver coins here.
